OUR BELIEFS
The Trinity
We believe that there is one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1,26; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1,3; John 4:24; Acts 5:3,4; Romans 1:20; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:5,6)
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s written revelation to humanity and that it is the only inspired, infallible guide for salvation and life, without error in all it teaches. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20,21)
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His return to earth in power and glory. (Isaiah 53; Matthew 1:18-25; Matthew 20:28; Matthew 28:6; Luke 1:26-38; John 2:2; John 3:16; Acts 1:11; Romans 3:24-26; Romans 5:1; Romans 9:5; Romans 10:9; 1 Corinthians 15:3,4,14; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17; Titus 2:13)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, that He performs the miracle of new birth in an unbeliever and indwells believers, giving them assurance of salvation, spiritual gifts, and empowering them to advance Christ’s Kingdom on this earth. (Ezekiel 36:27; Joel 2:28; John 14:12; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38; Romans 8:9,11,16; Romans 12:8-11; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 4:11-13; Galatians 4:6; 1 John 3:24; 1 John 4:13)
The Church
We believe that human beings were created in the image of God, but because of sin, were alienated from God. That alienation can be removed only by accepting through faith alone God’s gift of salvation, which was made possible by Christ’s death. (Genesis 1:26, 27; 3:1-24; John 3:3,5; John 1:12, 13; Romans 3:25; Romans 5:12-18; Ephesians 2:8,9; James 1:18; 1 John 1:8; 1 Peter 1:23)
